Statements

Today I turned on the radio , There was a lot of chatter about a preacher, apparently Obamas ex -minister. As I listened to
this minister speak he definitely used words that blanketed or painted a lot of people with the same brush but, that was his
statement and belief. Are we really responsible for what somebody else may say on any given sunday ?. It is my belief that alot
of what he said was true but, he obviously didn't specify which white people he was talking about. How many people have you
heard say things like, "you people" or you black people, As if all black people are the same. Constantly I have wondered when my
country would acknowledge me as an individual and not a blackman but it never happens. Every day people in the media make the same mistake that this minister made and it seems to be no big deal. Sure he used some undefined terminology, Sure he hit some issues squarely on the bulls eye, Hell what group of people in the privilege class agrees with the truth anyway ?....

One thing I think everyone should remember, whether we are different in any belief, race or religion, under neath us all is a
country, that country is called America, If you were born here,
"YOU ARE AN AMERICAN".
