Obamas Response to the critics, 3/18/2008

Today Barack Obama responded to the american peoples concern as it relates to his pastors comments. Brilliantly speaking he
addressed the racial divide from both sides of the coin if you will. Flipping between racial concerns of the past and present on the white side as well as the black side, addressing how it is indoctrinated and spoken about in our society an where. Obama addressed the divisive politics and exploitation by the media for political and monetary reasons. Obama talked about how corporations gain by exporting jobs to different countries while mills in the US close there doors leaving behind jobless citizens in their wake. With candor he began speaking to every american whether they were Asian, Black or White, Spanish or an immigrant. Barack talked about the generational perceptions of people who have been systematically left out or behind in this
society as opposed to the new generations and the inroads that the young have experienced, Barack made the statement that we still need to address some important issues as it relates to equality in this country. In his summation Barack started talking about the real issues and not the distractions that have arisen, statements of togetherness as american citizens working together to achieve an adequate health care system for every american, jobs for every citizen, expressing that working hard on ones own self to achieve the american dream is necessary, He also talked about the global warming problem.

Obama in my opinion showed that he is a leader, A brilliant thinker and visionary who is looking to help make my country,
your country a better place for all its citizens. I certainly can see why a lot of caucasian people have told me he could be the next
president. In my opinion he should be...
